Nature Chelsea was a project of Action Chelsea for the Respect of the Environment (ACRE) and the Municipality
of Chelsea.

The goal of Nature Chelsea was to support the conservation of Chelsea's wild plants and animals, its biodiversity.

  1. February 29, 2012 Land Stewardship Project Update!

BioBlitz 2010

It’s called a BioBlitz, and it is a partnership between the Municipality of Chelsea, the National Capital Commission, and ACRE. Over 41 experts in birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, insects, plants, fungi, and lichen will survey as many species as they can in a race against the clock.

Nature Chelsea invites the residents of Chelsea to help us keep track of the biodiversity of Chelsea through our bio-mapping project!
