Chelsea has done it again! Working together, the citizens of Chelsea secured another 42 acres of forest for conservation and for the community – forever. The Larrimac Forest is part of the Larrimac Ecological Corridor: an expanse of forests, wetlands, and streams identified by the National Capital Commission as essential to the long-term ecological integrity of Gatineau Park. The Larrimac Forest is the third property acquired by Action Chelsea for the Respect of the Environment (ACRE) in this Ecological Corridor, and its tenth conservation property.
